Example:
X+ 24x + 144          X•X=X2     12•12=144       12x•2=24x          (X+12)2

  1. You have to look if the first and last numbers have a perfect square.
  2. After that, you multiply that variable and the whole number and multiply it by two to see if it is a perfect square.
  3. Then you just put them into a binomial and square it.
  4. If it’s not, just factor it by using the guess and check method.
